§ 5-33. Animal control officer.

The city administrator is authorized to designate by administrative order from time to time those persons or officials who shall be responsible for carrying out the duties of the animal control officer(s) provided for under the provisions of the state Dangerous Dog Control Law, (O.C.G.A. §§ 4-8-20—4-8-29), and those persons, organizations, entities and/or officials who shall be responsible for the seizure, care, custody, confinement, adoption and disposition of animals seized pursuant to any provision of this chapter.
