The community development director may institute proceedings for injunctive and/or other appropriate relief to prevent the continued violation of this article by any person. No building, use or occupancy permit shall be issued for a tract of land that is in violation of the provisions of this article, and any such permit that is inadvertently issued in violation of this article shall be voidable at the instance of the community development director, provided the property owner, subsequent to the issuance of such permit, has not acted in reliance upon the validity of such permit to his or her detriment. |
