§ 9-21. Escape; assisting.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person who shall be convicted and confined for the violation of any provision of this Code or other ordinance of the city to escape or attempt to escape from the place of confinement or imprisonment.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person within the city to release or attempt to release or aid in releasing or threaten to release any person in the custody of any officer.
